Summary/Objective TheDirector of Human Resources is directly responsible for the overalladministration, coordination and evaluation of the human resourcefunction. The HR Director will be a services and solutions provider tothe operating group. They will maintain and enhance the organization\'shuman resources function by implementing and evaluating team memberrelations and human resources polices, programs and practices. EssentialFunctions Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individualswith disabilities to perform the essential functions. Annually reviewsand makes recommendations to executive management for improvement ofpolicies, procedures and practices on personnel matters Maintainsknowledge of industry trends and employment legislation and ensurescompliance Maintains responsibility for compliance with federal andstate legislation pertaining to all personnel matters Communicateschanges in personnel policies and procedures and ensures propercompliance is followed Assists executive management in the annualreview, preparation and administration of wage and salary programCoordinates or conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behindseparation Consults with legal counsel on personnel matters asappropriate Oversees talent acquisition and onboarding processes Worksdirectly with department managers to assist them in carrying out theirresponsibilities on personnel matters Recommends, evaluates andparticipates in staff development Supervises the staff of the humanresource department Participates on committees and special projects andseeks additional responsibilities Competencies CommunicationProficiency/Coaching Organizational Skills Staffing InitiativeThoroughness Time Management Management Proficiency Financial Planningand Strategy Process Improvement Decision Making Strategic PlanningSupervisory Responsibility This position has supervisoryresponsibilities upon hiring.
