About the Role The Optics Engineering Intern position will support the Optical Engineers with a variety of in-lab testing. This position will also brainstorm continuous improvement methods for optical engineering testing approaches. Additionally, this position will support optical studies and identified research projects. Your Responsibilities Learn theory/purpose of optical camera testing including Color chart measurement SNR measurement High Dynamic Range measurement MTF measurement Through focus lens measurement Assist Optical Engineers with optics testing (above) Brainstorm methods to improve optical testing (above) Support optical studies and projects Define/scope/plan optical project of mutual benefit Who we are looking for High School Diploma Currently Attending a College or University Major in engineering physics, mechanical engineering, optics or relative field Some related experience preferred Your preferred qualifications Proficient Computer knowledge and skills, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Professional Communication skills (written and verbal) Strong technical and analytical competence in select areas of technology.
