Nanomotion, a Johnson Electric Company is excited to announce we are now recruiting for a Regional Sales Manager/Engineer out of our Long Island, NY Facility. This critical position will take on all responsibilities associated with managing direct sales for the region of Western Europe, focused on new business development in all segments of Nanomotion’s activity (Semiconductor, Biomedical, Commercial/Defense Optronics). The position will allocate a percentage of time assisting country-based distribution channels to support their efforts. This includes training and mutual sales calls to support existing and new customers.

This position will encompass coordinating activities from lead follow-up, regular sales calls and all account management activity in the territory. The position will require the individual to work independently and with the Vice President of Nanomotion to actively pursue new accounts without distribution, to promote Nanomotion technology and present products. The role will require close collaboration with Nanomotion engineering to assure customer requirements and expectations are managed and met effectively. The position will take an active role in strategy meetings, tradeshows and other key business development activity.

The regional sales engineer will report regularly on the territory and have intimate knowledge of all critical activity in the region. The regional sales engineer will also be responsible for coordinating the activity with the Nanomotion Program Managers to support customers in any manner necessary.
