Solaris HealthCare is hiring an Admissions Clerk to join our team

Admissions Clerk duties

  • Coordinate admissions appointments and tours forprospective residents/patients/students and their families
  • Process admissions applications and inquiriespromptly and accurately
  • Collect, verify, and maintain accuratedocumentation related to admissions, including medical records, insuranceinformation, and financial documents
  • Communicate effectively with internalstakeholders, including medical staff, administrative personnel, and otherdepartments, to ensure seamless admissions procedures
  • Provide help and support toresidents/patients/students and their families throughout the admissionsprocess, addressing questions, concerns, and needs in a professional andcompassionate manner
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements,organizational policies, and confidentiality standards in alladmissions-related activities
  • Assist with discharge planning and arrangementsfor residents/patients/students leaving the facility/institution, as needed
  • Participate in training and professionaldevelopment activities to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to the role
Admissions Clerk qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent required;additional education or training in healthcare administration, customerservice, or related field preferred
  • Previous experience in admissions, customerservice, or healthcare administration preferred
  • Strong organizational skills and attention todetail
  • Excellent communication and interpersonalabilities, with a customer-focused approach
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-pacedenvironment and prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications,including Microsoft Office Suite and electronic medical records systems
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality andupholding ethical standards in all interactions
