Brief Department/Job Description

The Raytheon Technologies Enterprise Services Strategic Affordability Analysis (SAA) organization is seeking an individual to join its team as a Principle Financial Analyst. This role will support enterprise supplier pricing strategies and proposals. This individual will provide leadership and vision in our Strategic Affordability Analysis organization by analyzing supplier proposals.

This individual's work product will have a direct impact on Raytheon's competitive posture in the defense market place and customer satisfaction. She / he will work closely with employees across Supply Chain, Finance, Estimating & Pricing, Engineering and Operations. For these reasons, a strong background in accounting, cost accounting, estimating & pricing, financial planning & analysis and analytical techniques is desired.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities
  • Perform detailed cost analyses and commercial item determinations on supplier proposals in excess of $2M
  • Work closely with external and internal customers to develop a fair and reasonable price recommendation to be utilized for supplier and customer negotiations
  • Work with DCMA as needed to support direct/indirect rate and full assist audit processing
  • Support USG requests for information and audit walk- throughs as needed
  • Perform regular peer audits for other analysts
Qualifications you must have
  • Bachelors degree and 5 years of relevant finance experience gained in a large corporate finance/accounting setting or 3 years and an advanced degree.
  • At least 3 years experience in accounting, cost accounting, estimating & pricing, or financial planning & analysis
  • Proficient in MS Office including superior Excel abilities ( V-look ups, Pivot Tables, Macros etc)
Education Experience Skills and Certifications
  • This position typically requires a Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field and 5 years of relevant experience or an advanced degree and 3 years of relevant experience.
Required Security Clearance (NA)

Qualifications We Prefer
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and techniques are required
  • Superior oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work in a very fast paced environment and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
  • Demonstrated ability to work and deliver final work product within defined time frame.
  • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) & TINA statues
  • Ability to professionally present to large groups
  • Knowledge of pricing, engineering and manufacturing estimating techniques
  • Master's in Business, Finance or Accounting degree
  • Preferred Qualifications = Must be willing to work hybrid from one of the following major Enterprise Services hubs: Tucson AZ or Dallas, TX

The salary range for this role is 77,000 USD - 163,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
