The Financial Analyst I is a key member of the Greenphire Finance Team reporting directly to the Finance Supervisor. The position is responsible for supporting the financial aspects of the Greenphire sales process including new contract review, contract change orders, client invoicing and ad-hoc reporting. The goal of this position is to improve the client experience by ensuring accurate financials and proactive client engagement.

Responsibilities

Review financial and billing aspects of client contracts prior to execution to ensure consistency and accuracy
Handle administrative functions, such as entering project information and essential subscription updates into NetSuite
Prepare client invoices, including quality checking usage reports for purchased services
Execute various ad-hoc financial reporting requests from both internal and external stakeholders
Analyze client requirements and existing system configurations to calculate the financial components of client contracts
Effectively manage the change order queue from initial request to final execution
Proactively engage with internal resources and clients to facilitate the execution of change orders in a timely manner, including rapid problem resolution when issues or questions arise
Assess processes and identify areas of improvement
Raise issues and roadblocks to senior management as needed for resolution
Perform other duties, assignments, and/or special projects as time or circumstances necessitate

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree, preferably in Finance preferred or equivalent work experience and/or training
Previous experience in a financial or analytics role
Must have strong Excel skills, including managing large data sets with VLOOKUP and SUMIF/COUNTIF functions and pivot tables
Previous experience in NetSuite and Salesforce preferred
Proven ability to deliver timely and accurate work
Attention to detail is a must
Ability to look for ways to improve and promote quality
Ability to clearly document and follow process and procedures
Excellent communication skills (verbal and written), analytical, organizational, interpersonal and time management skills
Microsoft Word and PowerPoint proficiency required
