The Territory Sales Manager (Outside Sales) will focus on business development and customer retention within their respective sales categories. This role is designed for an energetic and confident sales professional looking to join a rewarding and entrepreneurial environment. They will report to the VP of Sales.Primary Duties and ResponsibilitiesProspecting for new business and maximizing growth opportunitiesResponsible for increasing revenue in targeted accountsEffectively build consensus, gain appropriate commitments and close businessMust maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in industry related associations and eventsConduct competitive market intelligence; analyze and adjust positioning to grow market leadershipForecast sale trends, sales dollars and communicate competitive situationsMaintain and enhance our sales position with existing customersSet up and maintain routine customer contactStrategic business plan development and executionInteract with Inside Sales Representative to ensure customer requirements are metInterface for customer quality issuesTravel when neededPosition RequirementsBachelor's degree in related field and/or 5+ years of management experience in steel service center sales3 years outside selling experience in the Flat Roll steel industryExcellent verbal, written and presentation skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsBasic understanding of metallurgical terminologyConfident in computer skills, including MS Office SuiteIncentivesFully RemoteCommission EligibleFull benefits Package: Medical-Vision-Dental-Life-Disability-HSA-FSA401(k) Match: 50% on the first 6% of contributionsTuitions Reimbursement OfferedDiversity & Inclusion StatementUPG Enterprises LLC and its Affiliates is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse and inclusive workforce.
