This opportunity is in Green Cove Springs FloridaMechanical Design Engineer VAC-CON is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to provide engineering design support daily.Your Responsibility Work directly with engineers to produce drawings from sketches, existing drawings, and electronic images.Preparation of accurate 3D solid models in Autodesk Inventor. Preparation of Bill of Materials.Support on Processing Engineering Change Order (ECO) using Autodesk Vault Professional.Devise new design solutions to problems encountered.Assist On-Going Product Improvement team with Daily designs per Customer.Assist Product Development Team with New designs concepts needed to assist build new product.Required QualificationBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.0-3 Years of working experience in design of Heavy-Duty Equipment.Ability to read Electrical, Pneumatic and Hydraulic schematics.Knowledge of 3D solid modeling, Autodesk Inventor and Vault Professional preferredSkilled in working with Knowledge of sheet metal design, water piping and hose routing.Basic knowledge of steel and aluminum manufacturing processes, sheet metal fabrication, machining, and weldingPreferred Knowledge of Parametric modeling this would include something akin to iAssemblies, iParts, Factories....the ability to drive a model dimension through a parameter or a logical statement.GD T (Geometric dimensioning tolerancing) Knowledge of FEA will be an added advantage.Knowledge of hydraulic systems for mobile equipment is a plus.Must have a demonstrated ability to work within tight deadlines. Ability to multi-task and handle multiple priorities simultaneously.Will be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.Ability to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to use Microsoft Office suites.Good written and verbal communicationDemonstrated ability to work in a self-directed environment.Must be Team PlayerCommunication SkillsOrganizes and expresses ideas and information clearly, using appropriate and efficient methods of conveying the information.Ability to effectively present information to the team using Video conference.
