Position Profile

As a Senior Software Integration Developer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions that connect our software products with various external systems, services, and platforms. You will be the lead developer on a marquis integration project, and will lead cross collaboration with cross-functional teams, including developers, project managers, and quality assurance specialists, to ensure the smooth integration of our software across different environments. The role will require a strong understanding of software architecture, API design, billing system integration, and experience in working with web stack technologies. Knowledge of JSON and Elixir programming languages will be highly valued.

Key Responsibilities

Integration Design and Implementation: Lead the design and development of integration solutions, ensuring compatibility, security, and scalability. Collaborate with software developers to create APIs and interfaces that enable seamless communication between our products and external systems. API Management: Manage and maintain APIs, ensuring they are well-documented, versioned, and adhering to industry best practices. Monitor API usage and performance, proactively identifying and addressing any potential issues. Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve complex integration issues, including data mismatches, connectivity problems, and compatibility challenges. Employ debugging tools and methodologies to quickly diagnose and resolve problems. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop and execute comprehensive integration test plans, verifying the reliability and performance of integrated systems. Ensure the delivery of high-quality software that meets or exceeds customer expectations. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand integration requirements and effectively communicate integration plans and progress. Work closely with project managers to ensure timely and successful project delivery. Technology Research: Stay up-to-date with the latest integration technologies, best practices, and industry trends. Propose and implement innovative solutions to enhance integration processes and efficiency. Billing System Integration: Utilize your experience in integrating billing systems to design and develop billing-related integration solutions, ensuring accurate and secure transfer of billing data. Web Stack Technologies: Apply your expertise in working with web stack technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks to seamlessly integrate web-based applications with our software products. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed technical documentation for integration processes, APIs, and troubleshooting guides. Share knowledge with team members and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives. Security and Compliance: Ensure integration solutions meet industry standards and comply with security protocols, protecting sensitive data and maintaining data integrity during data transfers.

Qualifications And Skills

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Proven experience as a Software Integration Engineer or similar role, with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in billing system integration and integrating with web stack technologies. Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, JSON, and Elixir, with a solid understanding of object-oriented design and software architecture. Extensive knowledge of API design, RESTful principles, and web services, especially in the context of billing systems integration and working with various web stack technologies. Experience with data integration technologies and tools, such as ETL processes, specifically applied to billing data and web-based applications. Proficiency in working with databases and SQL, particularly for billing-related data manipulation and analysis, and web stack technologies like HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks. Familiarity with cloud platforms and services, such as AWS or Azure, with a focus on billing system integrations in cloud environments and web-based applications. Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to issue resolution, especially in complex billing system integration scenarios and challenges related to web stack technologies. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and coordinate with billing system stakeholders and web development teams. A track record of delivering high-quality software projects on time and within budget, with a focus on successful billing system integrations and seamless integration with web stack technologies. Understanding of security and compliance requirements related to software integration, particularly concerning sensitive billing data and web application security.
