DESCRIPTION OF WORK

We seek a knowledgeable and dedicated pharmacist to help us facilitate hope, healing, and recovery in our patients. Your primary responsibility will be filling medication orders and prescriptions and examining each for adverse reactions, duplications, incompatibilities, and allergies. You will package and apply auxiliary labels accordingly and provide patients and other medical staff information on use, dosage, side effects, and safety. Utilizing exceptional communication skills, you will engage directly with patients and nursing staff, ensuring clear guidance and minimizing the risk of adverse reactions.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • May change based on operational needs
  • FREE PARKING

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Special Requirements:

  • You must have possession of a license to practice pharmacy as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy.

Other Requirements:

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:

  • You must pass a background investigation.
  • A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.
  • This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.
    1. Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
