A Nursing Administrator provides clinical and training consultation to the leadership and staff at two of the bureau's six Veterans Homes. Nursing Administrators have a direct influence on the quality of care to our resident Veterans and their spouses by ensuring that clinical staff possess the clinical and resident care competencies required to ensure the health, welfare, and safety of our residents. The nurse administrator works directly with the Registered Nurse Instructors in their assigned facilities to design, develop, deliver, and manage skill and competency-focused training and education.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week
- Work hours are 8:15 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with 45-minute lunch.
- WORK SITE: Location will be determined from one of the following, based on preference of selected candidate:
- Delaware Valley Veterans' Home (Philadelphia County)
- Headquarters (Lebanon County)
- Southeastern Veterans' Center (Chester County)
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- Four years of professional nursing experience, including two years in an administrative, supervisory, consultative, or quality assurance capacity, and a bachelor's degree in nursing, nurse education, healthcare administration, or a closely related field;or
- An equivalent combination of professional experience and training, which includes two years of professional nursing in an administrative, supervisory, consultative, or quality assurance capacity.
- All positions require active authorization to practice as a Registered Nurse in Pennsylvania.
- All employees possessing an active temporary practice permit must obtain licensure as a Registered Nurse within the one (1) year period defined by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing.
