What will you do as the Team Member Services Manager? Manages the recruitment process by posting job openings, accepting applications, conducting pre-screening, scheduling interviews, performing background checks, administering pre-employment testing, and issuing formal job offers. Process team member payroll and maintain accurate payroll records. Oversees the training program to ensure all team members fulfill position-specific training requirements. Updates training guidelines for each role, ensures participation in mandatory training sessions, sources training materials, tracks training effectiveness, and facilitates orientation for new team members. Oversees the team member performance management process, including training managers on coaching and disciplinary practices, establishing reward and recognition programs, facilitating performance appraisals and improvement reviews, addressing performance issues, managing the ‘Open Door’ communication system, and conducting exit interviews. Maintains records of required licenses and certifications, such as CPR/First Aid, LPN, CNA, RN, and ServSafe, for each department. Notifies team members and supervisors of upcoming expiration dates and updates records upon renewal. Manages team member benefits programs, including open enrollment, claims resolution, change reporting, payment approvals, and communicating benefit details to team members. Assists in developing and implementing personnel policies and procedures. Maintains and distributes team member handbook and HR policies and procedures manual. Develops and maintains affirmative action programs, files annual EEO-1 reports, and keeps records, reports, and logs to ensure compliance with EEO regulations. Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations for fair labor standards, compensation, hiring, and unemployment. Represents the company at hearings on human resources matters. Maintains records in the Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and generates reports from the database as needed. Administers employee appreciation programs including recognition of birthdays, anniversaries, and team member of the month awards. Attend training courses and participate in other professional development activities as required. Knowledge & Skill: Knowledge of appropriate Federal and State regulations pertaining to Senior Living. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to lead effectively within a culturally diverse, team-based environment. Strong time management and organizational skills. Possess excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint. Ability to calculate figures related to budgetary items, staffing needs, and amounts such as percentages and area. Pre-Employment Requirements: Successful completion of criminal background check in state of employment. Demonstrate freedom from Tuberculosis by PPD/TB test or chest x-ray, documenting the absence of tuberculosis in a communicable form. Pass a pre-employment drug test. Mental and Physical Requirements: Be in good health, and physically and mentally capable of performing assigned tasks. Must maintain a clean and well-groomed appearance. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and listen. The employee frequently lifts and/or moves up to 25 pounds. Must be able to push a minimum of 200 pounds and be able to push such weight a minimum distance of 200 feet. May be necessary to assist in the evacuation of residents during an emergency.
