Enbridge Gas Ohio is hiring a Financial Analyst who will support the development and maintenance of the company's consolidated budget forecast as well as corporate strategy. The Analyst will also assist in the development and monitoring of corporate strategy.

Here's what you will do:
  • Support budget and forecast development, including consolidation processes, to ensure timeliness and financial accuracy.
  • Provide analysis and presentation preparation in support of investment decisions going before Investment Review Committee.
  • Support review, update, and communication of cost of capital utilized for business and investment decisions.
  • Support efforts to respond to requests for special studies, including operational expense, industry trends, etc.
Who you are:

You have:
  • 3+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree in a related field OR 5+ years of relevant experience with an Associate's degree OR 7+ years of relevant experience with a High School diploma/GED.
    • Preferred focus on Accounting, Finance or Business.
  • Knowledge of financial management and analysis; utility and/or relevant industry; accounting standards and practices.
  • Excellent leadership; organizational; interpersonal; verbal and written communication.
  • Teaming, analytical and customer focus skills.
  • Expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, and project financial analysis.
  • Experience in M& A analysis, due diligence process, and understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles.
  • Knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Aptitude for continuous learning.
Working Conditions:
  • Domestic Travel Up to 10% between company locations within Ohio.
  • Office Work Environment 76 -100%.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
