What You'll Do:

* Hands-On Support: Dive into customer inquiries and complex situations, offering guidance to your team and swiftly removing obstacles to enhance productivity regarding customer questions or challenges.* Process Enhancement: Share your expertise as a subject matter authority in Brokerage Services, collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline processes and overcome operational hurdles.* Financial Mastery: Manage the flow of funds for all Brokerage Services including wires, transfers, payoffs, lien releases, settlement service, etc. Monitor and improve processes as needed to ensure the safety and security of company and customer funds.* Profit & Loss Responsibility: Collaborate with senior management to drive revenue growth and ensure top line revenue and bottom line profitability metrics are exceeded. Identify areas of opportunity and devise action plans to address any deficits in business. Participate in the annual budgeting process accordingly.* People Leadership: Lead by example in managing day-to-day operations, from recruitment, coaching feedback, and performance evaluations to project prioritization and team development.

What You Should Have:

* Seasoned Expertise: Bring at least 10 years of lending and/or marine industry experience* Broker/Dealer Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of broker/dealer operations; ideally within the marine industry, but open to other industries as well* Relationship Building: Demonstrate a track record of cultivating strong industry relationships and navigating complex business landscapes.* Solution-Oriented Mindset: Thrive in high-pressure environments, leveraging your analytical prowess and pragmatic approach to deliver impactful solutions.* Leadership Acumen: Showcase your ability to lead, analyze, and communicate effectively, driving performance and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.* Exceptional Communication: Excel in both written and verbal communication, articulating departmental achievements and strategies with clarity and precision.
