Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior-Level Logistics Specialist to oversee and manage all aspects of our logistics operations, ensuring the timely and cost-effective movement of goods from foreign countries to the United States. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and supply chain management, with a proven track record of optimizing logistics operations in an international context. Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement efficient logistic strategies to ensure the smooth import of goods from foreign countries like China and their distribution within the U.S. Manage relationships with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customs brokers, and other logistics service providers to ensure efficient and timely delivery of goods. Oversee the entire supply chain process, including transportation, warehousing, inventory management, and order fulfillment. Ensure compliance with U.S. and international trade regulations, including customs requirements and import/export documentation. Analyze and optimize logistics operations to reduce costs, improve efficiency, and enhance customer satisfaction. Coordinate with sales, customer service, and procurement teams to align logistics operations with business objectives. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and improve logistics performance. Lead, motivate, and manage the logistics team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes affecting logistics and international trade. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master's degree is a plus. Minimum of 3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management. Strong knowledge of international trade, import/export regulations, and customs clearance processes, particularly with China-U.S. trade. Experience working with logistics software and ERP systems. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Fluent in English; proficiency in Mandarin is highly advantageous.
