What You'll Do

The Business Development Manager/Director will be responsible for developing and nurturing strategic relationships with key carriers like Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. This role involves identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, becoming intricately familiar with the carriers' B2B sales funnels, and positioning ZAGG as the preferred provider of technology accessories for end customers. Other responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with key stakeholders at major carriers, understanding their business needs and aligning our offerings to meet those needs.
  • Analyze carrier sales funnels to identify and target opportunities where our products can be integrated and proposed to enhance value to the carriers and their customers.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies that result in the achievement of sales targets and expansion of our market presence.
  • Work on building long-term partnerships with carriers, ensuring continuous business and growth opportunities.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities to anticipate potential impacts on carrier partnerships.
  • Work closely with the product development, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that our product offerings and strategies are in sync with carrier needs and opportunities.
  • Regularly track and report on partnership performance, adapting strategies as necessary to maximize results.
What You'll Need to be Successful
  • Minimum of 7 years in business development or a similar role, with specific experience working with telecommunications carriers.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Telecommunications, or a related field. An MBA is preferred.
  • Proven success in strategic planning and business development within the telecommunications industry.
  • Excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical skills for effective decision-making.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire a team.
