About the Role

The Senior Financial Analyst - Partner Services is an integral part of Latham's Partner Services team. This role will be responsible for working closely with Latham & Watkins' Global Tax Department, a team of highly motivated financial professionals whose primary role is to support the partners of the firm in all stages of their partnership, while utilizing analytical skills and expert knowledge of business, economics, finance, and accounting to complete complex tasks. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in Downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Creating custom financial reports detailing partner compensation, tax, and other deductions
  • Consolidating information from various sources and creating tools which most effectively reflect the information to be relayed to partners
  • Designing and generating financial reports which provide templates for use by the Financial Senior Analyst and others on the team
  • Preparing cash flow projections and estimates of reserves
  • Identifying opportunities to provide more information to the partners at different stages of their career and following through with creating new reports
We'd love to hear from you if you:
  • Demonstrate excellent leadership skills including: organizing, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making
  • Exhibit an understanding of tax
  • Display the ability to lead large, long-term, and complex projects from inception to completion
And have:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field
  • A minimum of two (2) years of related analytical experience in finance or accounting
  • Experience at a professional services organization, preferably
  • Experience in working on ad-hoc requests and projects in a fast-paced environment
