We have an exciting opportunity for an Events Manager with previous experience in Event Catering. Responsible to the Managing Director and Head of Events, you will be an integral part of the team meeting with the Head Chef Pre-event, ensuring the right team and equipment are in place for a first class customer service.

Accountable for Achieving: • Maintaining the high standards of presentation and service. • Adhere to existing procedures, health, and safety and hygiene procedures. • Safe transportation of equipment, stock and its security to and from outside events / public shows. • Business growth and sales management. • Setting up and running of outside catering events, public shows and conferences. • Maintaining booking systems and calendar.

Main Duties to Include: • Organising and managing outside events, public shows and weddings. • Supervision of front of house staff at outside events. • Training new casual staff. • To provide support to the management team. • To provide relevant documentation pre-and post-show/ event and share with other staff. • Cash handling, completing relevant paperwork. • Ability to be away from home for up to a week at a time, plus additional overnight where required.

Personal Requirements: • Relish working in a fast-paced environment within the outside environment. • Committed, enthusiastic team player. • Ability to work in a methodical and organised way. • Ability to work under pressure taking full responsibility to meet deadlines. • Practical hands on approach, promoting a “can do attitude”. • Attention to detail and committed to providing excellent customer service. • Well presented with strong communication skills. • Manual Handling - This is a physical job which will require you to work long hours on occasions.

Qualifications and Experience: • Level 3 Food and Hygiene and Personal License holder are ideal but these can be done through the business. • Full clean driving license and be confident in driving to different locations around the UK. • Good knowledge of food and drink. • Good communicator in person, phone and email.

Working schedule:

5 days on and 2 days off In a 7 day period. (Some weeks will be over 48hrs)
