Our Bartender/Barista is responsible for delivering memorable hospitality to our guests with genuine and personable connections and engaging service from the initial greeting to their departure. This individual will need to be comfortable with multi-tasking and have an engaging attitude. Schedule will be either as a Bartender or a Barista.
Some responsibilities include:
- Greet guests as they arrive at the Bar or Marketplace.
- Guide guests on their beverage journey through descriptive selling of the menu.
- Be accurate in your order taking, confirming all special requests.
- Have a strong knowledge of bar drinks, liquors, wine, beer and/or coffee drinks offered.
- Offer suggestions, from the drink menu or an appetizer to start with. Up sell.
- Maintain a cheerful, positive attitude and appropriate conduct with both guests and team members at all times.
- Assist guests who have concerns to guide them to a resolution that leaves them happy.
- Present guest checks and collect payments accurately and in a timely manner following at all times Hotel policies and procedures.
- Take Knock & Drop orders and delivers them to guest room.
- Requisitioning and stocking of all beer, wine, spirits and other items.
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting, and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices, and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
- Maintain proper cash handling procedures.
- Ensure all items in the market place are fresh, up-to-date, and look appealing.
- Receive Marketplace deliveries, unload and organize stockroom. Restock all condiments, sundries, and food and beverage items throughout shift.
- Previous Bartender & Barista experience desired.
- Exhibit a friendly, attentive and helpful attitude at all times.
