Interact with global cross-functional teams to coordinate, execute and maintain Quality System processes according to approved procedures. Support Document Control and Quality Management System projects.

Your role:

  • Establishing and providing document control support to authors and process owners in defining and producing lean Quality System documents and records
  • Ensuring and providing direction regarding proper quality of the content of documentation and records
  • Establishing and managing proper document review processes
  • Ensuring availability and publishing of controlled documents
  • Establishing, monitoring, and responding to metrics on the efficacy and efficiency of the document management system and its ability to support the business
  • Collecting and maintaining documents and records of the latest revision level
  • Timely distribution of latest revision level documents and records to appropriate users and ensuring that obsolete documentation is removed from distribution and publication
  • Maintaining the document management system and ensuring fast retrieval of documents and records
  • Controlling issuance of document numbers, including maintenance of proper document registers
  • Ensuring proper document classification, sorting, filing, and archiving in accordance with requirements
  • Reviewing correct formatting and completeness of documentation
  • Responsible for preparing document transmittals
  • Archiving Quality records per process

  • Two-year technical degree in a related field, bachelors degree preferred or relevant years of experience
  • 5+ years of Document Control Experience In the medical device industry or similar work experience
  • Familiarity with Document Management tools
  • Experience running effective process improvement projects
  • Knowledge of FDA regulations (Quality System Regulations) and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to operate efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced and cultural diverse environment
  • Superior verbal and written communications
  • Advanced in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Procedural andTechnical writing experience
  • Frequently interacts with subordinate supervisors, customer, and/or functional peer group manager, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
  • Often just lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.

Philips Transparency Details

The pay range for this position is $74,000,000 to $125,000, Annually. The actual base pay offered may vary depending on multiple factors including, job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.

In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
