We're looking for a Clinical Specialist in Newport News, VA. As a member of the clinical support team, you are responsible for providing clinical and technical expertise and support of the sales process to colleagues, current customers and/or new customers. Your responsibilities as the Clinical Specialist will include: Acquire the knowledge and become a SME of ivWatch, it's products, iv infusion and vascular access practiceProvide educational training, clinical process, and procedures ranging from one-on-one sessions to group facilitation across all clinical settings and facilitiesIntegrate into all accounts, builds trust and relationships, and establish strong rapport with customers. Nurture the existing KOL relationships and build new KOLsProvides medical professionals with sales support, information, and training on the use of ivWatch products through staff education, in-services, and technical troubleshootingUse clinical expertise to identify customer training and in-service needs with the goal of increasing customer usage with regular ongoing supportDevelop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of assigned accounts and customersConducts evaluations, implementations and ongoing support within all accounts.Provides sales support, clinical in-services, training, and guidance to current or potential customers.Maintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors.Attend trade shows where new products and technologies are showcased and conferences to meet other sales representatives and clients and discuss new product developmentsComply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, Company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignmentsMaintains positive and cooperative communications and collaboration with all levels of employees and customersDocument all activities, communications, and planned activities in the company's CRM and update it dailyTo be a successful candidate, we look for: Bachelor's degree in nursing or equivalent with an R.N. designationStrong clinical and industry background with an in-depth understanding of iv IV therapyTeaching and technical device training education experienceAbility to positively represent company and build strong relationshipsExcellent organizational, time management and prioritizing skillsExcellent interpersonal, mentoring, verbal, written and presentation skillsDemonstrated capability of building strong working relationships with internal/external customersAbility to work an unpredictable schedule that may occasionally change on short notice due to schedule changes or delaysAccustomed to tight deadlines and managing multiple tasks with a strong sense of urgencySelf-motivation, taking on additional responsibilities without being asked and managing priorities with minimal supervisionWilling to work the hours needed to complete the tasks and travel extensively, approximately 60 - 75% of time as needed
