We're looking for a 3rd Cook and great teammate who knows their way around the kitchen As the 3rd Cook, you will play a key role in supporting the Chef and 1st cook with food preparation, sanitation, and safety by actively following our health and safety procedures.

The Role:

* Consult with the 1st cook on a daily basis as well as with other departments that are directly related to the food & beverage Department * Assist with the preparation in all kitchen departments as assigned by the Chef/1st Cook or camp Manager. * Must be able to demonstrate the use of industrial knives in a safe and sanitary manner. * Prep all foods assigned by the chef / first cook. * Maintain the cleanliness of the steam table before, during, and after meal service. * To tray/pan food items as assigned by the Chef and/or 1st cook * To clean and sanitize designated areas, and comply with statutory and company hygiene requirements including floors, counters, shelves, fixtures, fittings, bombers and walls, etc. * Assist with regular garbage removal. Make sure that all garbage's emptied at the end of the shift. * Clean all equipment while complying with statutory and company hygiene requirements and safety practices. * Maintain clean, organized, and safe workstations always. * Ensure that all food requirements are met in accordance with the contract. * Receives grocery orders and ensures proper storage rotation of all items. FIFO (first in-first out) is to be followed. * Ensure all items in fridges are dated and always labeled. * Use PPE at all times, e.g., Nitrile gloves, and cutting gloves. NOTE: All cooks are to use cutting gloves * To provide courteous guest service at all times. * Assist General Helpers with anything that needs to be accomplished, front of house and back of house as assigned by the Chef or 1st cook on duty. * Fill out temperature logs. * Any other duty assigned by the camp Manager, Chef, and 1st cook.

Preparation:

* You value safety in the workplace and hold a valid food safety certificate. * You have excellent people skills and can work effectively and efficiently supervised or unsupervised. * You are a great teammate and enjoy collaborating with other kitchen staff to ensure a smooth and efficient workplace.
