The FSE will perform work on customer instruments while following all EHS & Quality procedures. This position may require travel (flying and/or driving) up to 75% of the time and individual must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.This position is part of the Biotechnology Integrated Solutions organization and will be field based with travel. At Cytiva, our vision is, to advance future therapeutics from discovery to delivery.What you will do:Perform installation, qualification, routine maintenance, and repairs of instruments at customer sitesResponsible for administrative tasks of scheduling service, completing documentation, and maintaining inventoryEngage as part of a wider customer facing team including but not limited to Customer Care, Service Sales, and Account ManagersWho you are:Background in Biomedical, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering, Automation, Electronics, or any related STEM experience. This can come from a Bachelor's degree, Associate's degree, military experience, or an equivalent technical education or professional experience.Working knowledge of calibrated tools, hand tools, and power toolsOutstanding communication skills (verbal & written) and ability to provide an exceptional internal or external customer experienceTravel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:This position requires flying and/or driving travel, which may potentially include up to 50% overnight stays. Travel will primarily be domestic but may occasionally be international.Must have a valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.Ability to regularly lift, move, slide, raise and/or place up to 50lbs. Ability to stand, walk (prolonged), and sit; squat and kneel, ascend and descend stairs; reach with hands and arms.It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:Working experience in an environment that follows GxP guidelinesStrong IT skills relating to Networking and AutomationWorking knowledge of electronics and electricityAt Cytiva we believe in designing a better, more sustainable workforce.
