Department: Inside SalesReports to: Director of Ticket SalesClassification: Full-Time/Non-Exempt/SeasonalThe Sugar Land Space Cowboys are seeking driven and positive individuals who are committed to becoming sports and entertainment sales leaders. In this position, the Ticket Sales Associate will develop the skills necessary to become a full menu sales professional and take the next step within the sports industry. The primary role for this position is to generate new ticket revenue for the Sugar Land Space Cowboys through selling season tickets, partial ticket plans, group tickets, single game luxury suites and other premium inventory.Revenue will be generated via phone (outbound and inbound calls) and face-to-face ballpark tours.Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Sell new full season tickets, partial ticket plans, group tickets, single game luxury suites, and other premium inventorySet face-to-face appointments to show seats and give ballpark tours with the intent to close businessAnswer incoming single game calls with the ability to up-sell callers into ticket packages, group tickets, and suite rentalsWork games, nights, weekends and holidays as assigned (i.e. answer phones, work sales booths, visit clients)Represent the organization at in-house ballpark events and off-site community events promoting ticketsProspect and qualify all potential sales opportunities in addition to the leads you are providedMaintain computerized records of all season ticket customers and prospects with our CRM systemProvide excellent customer service to prospects and current clients over the phone and at gamesParticipate in weekly sales meetings and any training sessions throughout the yearWork with specific departments to assist in day to day activitiesEducation and/or Experience:Bachelor's degree in business, Sports Management, Marketing or related fieldDesire to be a sales industry leaderExcellent customer service skillsCommitment to personal integrityStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to work as a team playerAbility to confidently deliver face-to-face sales presentations to prospective clientsMust be able to work a flexible schedule, which includes home games, nights, weekends and holidays as assignedProficiency in basic computer software programsWork EnvironmentThis job operates in an office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones and photocopiers.The noise level is usually moderate but can be loud within the stadium environment. Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. This is a largely sedentary role which will require the ability to speak and hear.
