Production Manager
Job Description:
Reporting to the VP of Manufacturing & International Sales, the Production Manager will oversee the bag/converting department, collaborating closely with other supervisors to ensure efficient operations. This role involves managing personnel and coordinating job orders within the department.
Essential Duties:
- Develop and manage department schedules to optimize production efficiency.
- Supervise and support department personnel, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Oversee operations in the Converting department, collaborating with other supervisors to meet production goals.
- Familiarize oneself with department processes and eventually take on responsibility for job/order scheduling.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience in the manufacturing industry.
- Experience in any type of manufacturing environment is required.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
-Bachelor's degree in operations managment or similar field and/ or related field.
- Strong leadership and management skills.
- Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively multitask and prioritize tasks.
- Full-time position, Monday to Friday, with working hours from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm. (hours can adjust a little depending on production)
Salary:
- The salary range for this position is $75k-$85k based on experience and skills which can be discussed during interview.
