Corporate Staff Accountant

We are actively looking for a Staff Accountant to support an amazing organization in Richmond, VA.

Responsibilities Include:
  • Balance sheet reconciliations, including cash, fixed assets, payroll, and other accruals.
  • Review of G/L for any missing transactions and overall accuracy.
  • Working with A/P, A/R, and Payroll as needed.
  • Preparing documentation for processes and procedures.
  • Computing taxes owed and preparing tax returns, ensuring compliance with payment, reporting, or other tax requirements.
  • Assisting in the formulation of the budget and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses.
  • Analyzing business operations, trends, costs, revenues, and financial commitments.
Skills and Experience:
  • Previous Accounting or Financial experience.
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong Understanding of GAAP accounting standards.
  • Knowledge of accounting/ERP software, including NetSuite, Intacct, SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics Suite, and/or QuickBooks.
  • Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Good work ethic and displays a can-do type of attitude.

  • the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
  • licensure and certification requirements;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
