Join us and we can make a difference together.About this role:Carrier Rental Systems provides year-round solutions for temperature control, power generation, or special event needs by renting and selling HVAC equipment during emergency breakdowns, planned outages, equipment retrofits, and plant expansion. This position is responsible for assisting with billing clients, writing POs, receiving POs, coordinating credit card transactions, attending AR calls, working with customers on past-due accountsKey Responsibilities:Through a professional phone demeanor, interact with customers and vendors to determine appropriate service requirementsKeep customers and salespeople informedDiligently follow up on all orders and releasesWork with the depot equipment coordinator for outbound/inbound shipments and ordersCoordinate scheduling of manpower and communicate with Equipment Coordinator, Depot Manager, and salespeople dailyMaintain active relationships with multiple transportation suppliers through daily contactsServe as the initial contact for A/R collection - review and approve customer invoicesReview vendor invoices and ensure that they are in the proper form for payment processingMaintain and update Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tracking filesCall customers to verify they have received invoices and request a pay dateMaintain active relationships with all third-party suppliers through periodic contactPrepare Rental Agreements, Bills of Ladings, and related Purchase Orders, AS needed when the equipment coordinator is unableMaintain a record of service activities including closing out jobs on the schedule board when completedLog all project releases and ensure customer signatureCoordinate all equipment transportation activityProvide prompt notification to customers, salespeople, technicians, and managersLog all outsourced transportation servicesAssist with technician and subcontractor scheduling and other activitiesParticipate in all weekly depot meetings and monthly Rentals Coordinator and A/R conference callsSchedule preventive maintenance with the Lead Tech(s) and Depot ManagerLoad and unload equipment in the yardInspect equipment leaving the yard (verify tagging status)Verify proper bill of lading before equipment leaving the yardVerify equipment returning to the yard matches the original bill of ladingInspect equipment returning from customer sites for damage and inform the Depot Manager of the damage and cost to repairEstablish and maintain spare parts and equipment inventoriesBasic Requirements:High School Diploma or GED.1+ years of basic computer skillsPreferred Requirements:A bachelor's degree is preferred2+ years of relevant HVAC service industry experience preferredStrong experience in Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce, and SAP#LI-On-siteRSRCARCarrier is An Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
