Our mission extends far beyond geographical boundaries, as we strive to make a positive impact both locally and globally.Position Summary:Join us as the Chief Financial Officer, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial well-being and investment-grade rating of our institution. Your expertise will drive our financial planning, accounting practices, and relationships with the financial community. Through overseeing various financial activities such as treasury, budgeting, audit, and more, you will lead our organization towards sound financial operations that are innovative and forward-looking.General Duties:- Develop and implement both short-term and long-term financial strategies to streamline financial processes.- Innovate and oversee areas including accounting, admissions, credit/collection, and internal control policies to maintain high standards.- Manage cash and investment activities in alignment with financial objectives.- Provide thorough financial reports and analyses to guide informed decision-making.- Mentor financial team members and establish efficient record-keeping procedures.- Offer strategic financial advice to maintain the organization's competitive edge.- Foster collaboration among department directors and administration for effective operations.- Ensure technology meets evolving data processing needs.Qualifications:Education:- Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.Experience:- Minimum five years experience as a CFO or in a similar role within acute healthcare.Skills:- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and advanced accounting software.- Strong communication skills.- Valid California driver's license.- Los Angeles County Fire Card required within 30 days of employment.Hours & Type:- Full-time, 40 hours per week.By leading our financial services, you will contribute significantly to our institution's continued success and its mission to provide exceptional care to our community.
