**Job Title: Welder Fitter****Job Description**We are seeking a skilled Welder Fitter for our first shift (6am to 4:30pm), Monday through Friday and most Saturdays. The role involves heavy plate welding of 1" and 3" steel using Flux Core welding techniques. Tasks include repairing equipment for steel mills and metal foundries, working on big tables, and base plate welding. You will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, performing initial fit-ups of welded assemblies, and communicating directly with engineering. Proficiency in operating a fork truck and a pendant-controlled overhead crane is essential.**Hard Skills**+ MIG, Flux Core welding+ Blueprint reading+ Precision measuring with micrometers+ Operating overhead cranes up to 50T+ Operating fork trucks and man lifts+ Heavy plate welding**Work Environment**Our facility spans 9 acres with over 100,000 square feet under roof, featuring 34 overhead and jib cranes with up to 100 ton crane capacity.
