Job Description
The Buffet Attendant plays a crucial role in our dining operations, primarily responsible for maintaining the presentation and replenishment of buffet items. This fast-paced position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with guests continuously, ensuring they have a pleasant dining experience.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain cleanliness and replenish buffet items, ensuring all food is presented attractively and kept at appropriate temperatures.
  • Interact with guests, providing information about food items and addressing any questions or concerns promptly.
  • Ensure the buffet area remains clean and organized, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Assist in setting up and breaking down the buffet, including arranging food displays and equipment.
  • Monitor buffet stock levels and coordinate with the kitchen staff to ensure timely refills.
  • Handle moderate weights regularly, setting up, and transporting food service equipment.
Qualifications:
  • Must be available on weekends and during the Holiday weeks in November and December.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to maintain a positive interaction with guests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift, pull, and push moderate weights.
  • Experience in food service or buffet management is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required by hotel needs.
