Back End Operations Managers are responsible for process and procedure in the shipping and receiving areas, fleet department, and lumber yard. This position will be for our Kent Store located at – 116 Starrs Rd, Yarmouth, NS B5A 2T5. What you will do: Demonstrate sensitivity to customer needs and willingness to build sincere relationships. Engage and motivate team members with energy/optimism, through company vision and effectively promote leadership at all levels. Possess an entrepreneurial spirit and continuously innovate to achieve great results and implement process improvements. Foster connection by putting people first and building trusting relationships. What you will bring: 5 years retail management experience. Experience in warehouse and yard management. Forklift experience is considered an asset. Knowledge of fleet and shipping processes are an asset. Knowledge of lumber building materials is an asset. Excellent communication skills, verbal and written. Ability to leverage technology for project management, analysis and solving problems (including Microsoft Office Suite).
