Join us and be part of a rapidly growing team that's truly making a differenceROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Functions independently to perform a broad range of medical services including, but not limited to the following:Patient AssessmentAge appropriate history and physicalOrdering and interpreting diagnostic tests such as lab work and x-rays relative to a patients specific needsDiagnosing and treating acute and chronic conditionsPrescribing medication appropriatelyAnnual examsMinor proceduresEducating patients on disease prevention and positive health and lifestyle choicesDocumenting encounters in EMRProviding direction, coordination, and evaluation of patient care deliveryEnsuring that standards and care quality levels are consistently followedFollowing all clinical safety protocols and infection control proceduresWork well with a diverse group of professionals in a team environmentMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:Current Texas license and certificationGraduate of an accredited NP/PA programExperience as an NP or PA in an outpatient clinic settingKnowledge of current clinical practices and clinical standards in the clinic settingCompetent with basic desktop software, medical practice management, and electronic medical records (EMR) systemsKnowledge of and adherence to HIPAA rules and regulationsExcellent customer service and communication skillsAbility to exercise a high degree of initiative, judgment, discretion, and decision-makingPREFERRED EXPERIENCE:1-3 years related experience preferably in a Primary Care outpatient settingAthena EMR experienceCOMPETITIVE BENEFIT PACKAGE:Compensation commensurate with experienceMedical, Dental, Vision InsuranceShort/Long term disability Insurance401K with employer matchHealth Savings Account optionsPaid Holidays and PTOReferral ProgramsBonus potentialAnnual CME allowanceMalpractice cost coveredTX license fee coveredDEA cost covered
