Title:

Network Automation Specialist Overview: We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Network Automation Specialist. This role will primarily focus on developing and owning our Network Automation processes while also engaging in Network Operations tasks. While expertise in these areas is not required, a willingness to learn and grow is essential. The ideal candidate will possess a mid-level proficiency in Network Automation tools and techniques, as well as a background in Network Operations, particularly in BGP. This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the enhancement of our network infrastructure and play a key role in driving automation initiatives. Responsibilities: Develop and implement Network Automation solutions to streamline operational tasks and enhance efficiency. Take ownership of the Network Automation framework, ensuring its reliability, scalability, and effectiveness. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation requirements and translate them into actionable solutions. Assist in Network Operations activities, including troubleshooting, monitoring, and maintaining network infrastructure. Serve as a resource for automation best practices and assist in training team members on automation tools and techniques. Contribute to the design and implementation of Source of Truth systems to maintain accurate network documentation. Explore emerging technologies such as Chatbots and NetDevOps, and evaluate their potential applications within our network environment. Utilize Python programming skills to develop scripts and automation workflows. Experience with Cisco and Arista platforms Take part in on-call rotation to address any game-time network issues Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 3 years of experience in Network Operations or related field. Proficiency in Network Automation tools and frameworks (e.g., Ansible). Familiarity with Source of Truth concepts and tools. Basic understanding of NetDevOps principles and practices. Strong Python programming skills. Experience with BGP routing protocols is highly desirable. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Excellent communication skills and a positive attitude.
