Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Primary Care Physician to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Primary Care Physician, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive medical care to patients of all ages, from infants to the elderly. You will work closely with a team of healthcare professionals to diagnose and treat a wide range of acute and chronic illnesses, as well as provide preventive care and health education to promote overall wellness.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough medical evaluations, including taking patient histories, performing physical examinations, and ordering diagnostic tests as needed
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, injuries, and infections
- Prescribe and manage medications, as well as provide education and counseling on medication usage and potential side effects
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients, in collaboration with other healthcare providers
- Provide preventive care, including routine check-ups, immunizations, and health screenings
- Educate patients on healthy lifestyle choices and disease prevention strategies
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records for all patients
- Collaborate with specialists and other healthcare professionals as needed to provide comprehensive care to patients
- Participate in continuing education and professional development activities to stay current on medical advancements and best practices
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements:
- Medical degree from an accredited medical school
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the state of practice
- Board certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Primary Care Physician in a clinical setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals
- Strong diagnostic and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in electronic medical record systems
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care
