Project Manager

Onyx Engineering, Inc., located in Corpus Christi, TX, has been in business for over 30 years. We specialize in capital and maintenance projects within refining, petrochemical and pipeline businesses. Our team consists of professionals with extensive experience in engineering and technical services, as well as facility planning and operations. We have specialists in Project Management, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Instrument, Electrical, and Controls Engineering, and Facility Operations. The successful candidate will work in Corpus Christi, TX, Monday-Friday. The project manager will work with cross-functional teams to efficiently implement maintenance site projects as required to meet the objectives identified by the operating business. The candidate will be accountable for project planning, design development, and execution, including creation of schedules, cost estimates, and scopes of work for projects within the site Maintenance department. We are seeking an individual who can manage multiple projects in various phases, from early FEL through construction. Will also participate within project meetings and department meetings reporting progress within assignments, answering technical questions for site and/or vendors, and all other required information needed. Requirements Bachelor's of Science in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited college Minimum of 10 years of experience as a Project Manager within or for Petrochemical Refineries Experience with development / execution of projects Experience leading teams and managing multiple initiatives, priorities, and/or projects Able to communicate effectively with various levels of management Strong verbal, written, and organizational skills Adhere to all safety policies and procedures of the site Valid Driver's License All applicants must be able to complete pre?employment onboarding requirements upon selection that include Background Screening and Drug Screening Current TWIC Card or Able to apply and obtain a TWIC card upon hire This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
