Application Architect - Dallas, TX - Law Firm - $170,000
Application Architect opportunity with one of the most prominent Law Firms in operations in Texas.
This organization have recently hired a new Head of Development, he is helping them recreate their internal application from the ground up starting with a brand new MVP taking it from an old legacy desktop application into a brand new web-based applications utilizing SQL, .Net and Java as the main technology moving forward.
Here you will be responsible for leading the overall design and overseeing the implementation of a custom enterprise business management application.
Key skills and experience required:
Familiarity with programming languages like JAVA, JavaScript, SQL, and C#.
Knowledge of operating systems (e.g., Windows, UNIX) and databases (e.g., SQL Server, MySQL).
Familiarity with project management and Agile development methodology. Certification is a plus.
Key responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Establish technology standards, guidelines, and best practices. These ensure consistency and alignment across various projects and systems.
Anticipate future business needs and technological advancements. They create roadmaps guiding technology investments and adaptations.
Staying informed about emerging technologies is essential. Assess new tools, frameworks, and platforms for suitability.
