*Avance Care* is in the business of improving the standard of healthcare. As one of the largest networks of independent *primary care* practices in North Carolina, we provide *comprehensive care* for our patient’s physical, mental, and emotional health.
We have an immediate need for a *patient-centric, adaptable*, and *reliable* *Medical Assistant. *
* This is a full-time role involving *12-hour weekday shifts* and a rotating weekend schedule.
* The position primarily works with one provider, so we are looking for an *adaptable team player* who is willing to contribute wherever needed.
* Our clinic operates in a *busy, fast-paced* environment, and we seek a candidate who thrives under such conditions.
* We offer a *comprehensive benefits package* available on the first of the month following 30 days of employment.
*Selected Responsibilities:*
* Escort patients to and from exam/treatment rooms
* Triage patients as necessary
* Administer vaccines and injections
* Record patient data prior to the physician’s visit
* Assist physicians with exams and a wide variety of procedures
* Administer medications
* Prepare and stock exam/treatment rooms and order supplies as needed
* Maintain proper disinfection protocols
* Complete prior authorizations for medications and diagnostic imaging
* Phone in prescriptions and distribute proper medications as ordered by the provider
Candidates should preferably have one of the following certifications: CMA, CCMA, RMA, or EMT, along with at least *one year *of *Medical Assistant experience*.
