POSITION SUMMARY: The job of Terminal Manager requires working in a fast-paced environment under time pressures. The Terminal Manager must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, along with experience using computerized ticketing software. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Responsibilities include: Direct day-to-day managerial direction and control of the designated facility to ensure the proficient operation of all terminal activities Responsible for cash management and compliance Operates a cash register and/or credit card equipment Supports marketing and promotional projects for ticketed events/promotions Sells and processes ticket orders via telephone, internet, and over the counter. Responsible for closing the Terminal, including the preparation of cash bank deposits If armor transportation service is not provided, Terminal Manager shall deposit directly to the bank in the nearest location. Communicates information and instruction to terminal personnel for advising on various situations Effectively communicates new policies and procedures to terminal personnel and/or clients Assist in the developmental goals, objectives, policies, and priorities of the Company Coordinate employees' schedules, team meetings, and assist other departments/terminals with operational needs Maintain safety standards within the terminal as a high priority Coordinate with Training Department/Human Resources Department for employee training Prepare reports for the payroll department weekly Consult with Human Resources regarding disciplinary actions for terminal employees Assist in various terminal duties (e.g., ticket sales, money transfers, maintenance of the terminal, etc.) Comply with data for developing formal reports, conveying information, and complying with company policy Informs Safety personnel of practices and incidents for follow-up action and/or proper procedures Participate in activities for receiving and/or conveying information required to perform job functions Recommend policies, procedures, and/or actions as needed and/or assigned for adequate safety and decision-making Submit daily sales reports to the Operations Manager and Accounting Department Other duties as assigned EXPERIENCE: 4 - 6 years of job-related experience preferred Bilingual required EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required Four-year bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred
