Water Resources Project Manager Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Water Resources Project Manager with at least 8 years of experience to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing complex water-related projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards. Responsibilities: Lead and manage water resources projects from initiation to completion, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation. Coordinate with internal teams, external stakeholders, and subcontractors to ensure project objectives are met. Conduct site visits and assessments to gather data, identify constraints, and develop solutions. Prepare and review engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and other technical documents. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track. Communicate regularly with clients to provide project updates, address concerns, and ensure client satisfaction. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and safety protocols. Mentor and coach junior staff members, providing guidance and support as needed. Collaborate with business development team to identify new project opportunities and prepare proposals. Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in water resources management. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 8 years of experience in water resources management, with a focus on project management. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results on time and within budget. Strong technical skills in hydraulic modeling, water quality analysis, and stormwater management. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with diverse stakeholders. Experience working with regulatory agencies and knowledge of environmental permitting processes. Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.). Strong leadership and team-building skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop staff. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
