Job Description

As the Director of Project Delivery, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project management, construction management for new and existing projects, and ensuring adherence to current processes while driving the implementation of new strategies. Your leadership experience and strategic vision will be crucial in ensuring the successful execution of renewable energy projects, contributing to our company's mission of sustainability and excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage a team of project managers to ensure successful execution of renewable energy projects from initiation to completion
  • Develop and implement project management processes and methodologies to optimize efficiency and minimize risks
  • Monitor project progress, budgets, and schedules, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure project success
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, procurement, and finance departments, to ensure alignment and collaboration throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee the construction of new renewable energy projects, including site preparation, equipment installation, and commissioning
  • Develop and implement construction management strategies to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
  • Control project programming, cost control, time control, quality control, major procurement & contract administration, and oversee design, construction & commissioning activities during the implementation phase
  • Manage relationships with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure quality standards are met and project milestones are achieved
  • Conduct regular site inspections and reviews to identify potential issues and implement solutions to mitigate risks
  • Adhere to EDL project management protocol and corporate governance
  • Evaluate existing project delivery processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Lead the implementation of new processes, tools, and technologies to enhance project delivery efficiency and effectiveness
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive process standardization and best practices across the organization
  • Provide training and guidance to team members on new processes and tools to ensure successful adoption and integration
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the project delivery team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and capabilities, enabling them to excel in their roles.
  • Set clear performance objectives and provide regular feedback and performance evaluations.
  • Foster a safe and inclusive work environment
  • In addition to the duties above, you may be expected to perform other duties as assigned from time to time by the company
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • 10+ years in project management and construction management, preferably in the renewable energy industry.
  • Experience in Renewables Energy, Natural Gas and gas processing industries
  • Management of construction projects more than $20M
  • Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams to achieve results.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze complex problems and develop innovative solutions.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools.
  • Knowledge of statutory requirements relating to the industry
