Job Purpose:

The Director of Corporate Services plays a crucial role within an organization. Let’s explore the responsibilities associated with this position:

  1. Strategic Leadership: As a member of the Leadership Team, the Director of Corporate Services contributes to a high-performing and inclusive culture. They lead and continuously improve corporate services, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness within budget constraints.

  2. Financial Management: The Director oversees financial matters, including budget allocation, resource management, and financial planning. They aim to achieve value for money in contractual arrangements and maintain positive relationships with technology, insurance, audit, and banking suppliers.

  3. Service Delivery Strategies: They oversee the development, implementation, and evaluation of service delivery strategies aligned with the organization’s goals and objectives. Efficiently managing budget resources while maintaining service quality is a key aspect of their role.

  4. Governance and Compliance: Advocating good governance, the Director ensures compliance with statutory requirements. They maintain a strong controls environment and lead the annual cycle of business and financial planning.

  5. Technology and Finance Leadership: Responsible for leading the technology and finance functions, the Director provides a first-class service to internal and external users. They embrace customer-centric technology solutions and ensure long-term financial stability aligned with growth plans.

  6. Decision-Making Authority: Within agreed authority, the Director makes decisions related to financial strategy, technology solutions, and business plans. Fiduciary governance remains the responsibility of the Executive and Board.
