Sr, Mgr., Tech Ops, Studio, Prime Video Live Sports

• \tManage studio engineering and technical operations team in support of our studio productions
• \tCollaborate with field technical operations and production teams to support our remote production efforts on NASCAR, NWSL, and WNBA
• \tManage facility broadcast technology schedules, ensuring regular maintenance, repair, and upkeep
• \tManage capital projects as new projects and technical refresh projects occur
• \tWork closely with technical vendors and partners to stay current with the latest broadcast technology
• \tSupport technical efforts and needs of our audio, replay, graphics, ingest, and media asset management (MAM) teams
• \tCollaborate with AWS partners to evaluate and implement live cloud production workflowsBASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• \t8+ years of Engineering Management with relevant broadcast facilities and studios experience
• \tIn-depth knowledge of SMPTE ST-2110 routing solutions
• \tKnowledge of video, audio, communications, networking, camera systems, transmission, and replay systems
• \tExperience working with multiple stakeholders in live television production environments
• \tAvailability to work during off-hours and weekends as required by operational needs of our programming schedule
• \tExperience educating non-technical stakeholders and working across multiple teams and regions
• \tAbility to problem-solve and multi-task in fast-paced, dynamic environments
• \tExtremely detail-oriented, organized, and a team player
• \tExcellent verbal and written communication skills, can clearly articulate and document technical processes
• \tProject management experiencePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• \tUndergraduate degree Electrical Engineering, Media Production, Computer Science (or equivalent experience in Broadcast Engineering with Management responsibilities.
• \tExperience working on or with large-scale, network level productions
• \tPrevious experience designing and implementing AR/XR and LED wall graphic workflows.
• \tExperience with Calrec audio consoles, EVS replay systems, Sony and Grass Valley production switchers and camera systems.

The base pay for this position ranges from $164,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $313,300/year in our highest geographic market.
