Moments are crafted through discovery, exceptional people, fun activities, and a breathtaking environment.Position Summary: The Auric Room General Manager will ensure guests receive outstanding service with an extraordinary experience and exceptional beverage program. They will network and build lasting, professional relationships with members, while constantly looking for ways to increase the quality of the Auric Room and the membership experience. The Auric Room General Manager will work with, manage, and motivate a team that encompasses various departments and staff levels including FOH / BOH staff. The Auric Room General Manager will also work closely with the Director of Food and Beverage to ensure financial goals and budgets are carefully forecasted, implemented, and reviewed. Ability to trouble shoot and problem solve.Ability to read and interpret documents in English such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals, newspapers, periodicals, journals, and manuals. Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, business letters, summaries, and reports in English using prescribed format, and conforming to all rules of punctuation, grammar, diction, and style. Ability to speak effectively in English before groups such as customers or employees. A strong understanding of P&L statements and the ability to react with impactful strategySufficient computer skills that will allow them to be able to use, in a proficient manner, all Company-issued software programs implemented at the hotel, including but not limited to the following: Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Yield Management Systems programs, ALICE, Property Management System (PMS) programs, Central Reservation System programs, Company-issued internet browser programs and Company-issued electronic mail programs Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.Ability to make business decisions based on production reports and similar facts, personal experience, and opinions, and in the best interest of the Company.Position Duties include, but not limited to:Oversee all operations of Auric Room, with duties to include service training, staff development, and costs controls, beverage program, and adherence to quality and safety standards.Involved with all day-to-day functions including staff management, member interactions, office administration duties, vendor communications, and labor costs.Required to ensure that operational standards are met regarding sanitation codes and laws, storage, and loss prevention.Responsible for selection, development, and retention of talented service staff. Works with Director of F&B and HR department to ensure optimal staffing levels are maintained with ongoing coaching and training programs in place for new and existing staff.Provides direction and directives to managers and staff in the performance of their duties, establishing work priorities and in achieving management objectives.Ensures service staff are providing excellent guest service by circulating through dining areas, lounges, and event spaces.Seeks opportunities to improve satisfaction and immediately handles any guest concerns or complaints.Assist the Food & Beverage Director and Executive Chef in the supervising of food preparation and presentation, including taste testing new recipes.Manage Auric Room staff by providing training, developing schedules, and setting work standards.Manage inventory of food and beverage supplies and ordering additional items as needed.Identify staffing needs and conduct regular performance assessments of team members in coordination with the Director of Guest Experience and Human Resources.Be a role model Ambassador of the Auric Room and Lone Mountain Ranch.Responsible for the appearance of all food and beverage staff, ensuring proper attire and clean and organized facilities.Have extensive knowledge of the ranch property and services, and the Big Sky area. Provide members with recommendations for dining, shopping, directions, and other requests. Ensure staff are knowledgeable of the same and provide training where necessary.Deals with the public, customers, employees, community member and government officials with tact and courtesy, fostering positive relationships and always maintaining a professional manner.Ensure full compliance to Company's operating controls, SOP's, policies, procedures, and service standards; Ensure all requirements are met with State/Park (CUA, DOAT, Insurance, USFS, etc)Work with the Human Resource Director to establish and maintain a pro-active human resource function to ensure employee motivation, training and development, wage and benefits administration, and compliance with established labor
