What You'll DoPart of the Central Product Management (CPM), you will help multiple global teams lead the end-to-end lifecycle(s) of sophisticated products spanning multiple feature areas. This will involve writing and consulting on specs, overcoming design challenges and taking the lead for promoting interoperability and scale. In addition, the Director of Product will drive the overall research strategy, driving the usage of core innovative game technology, and ensure that product decisions are based on in-depth data analysis. Through strong customer insight, the Director of Product will be responsible to develop deep insights into customer needs and how the roadmap addresses those needs.You will drive strategy for the team in collaboration with leadership, provide management for CPM team members, and mentorship for PMs throughout the company. You will provide oversight and guidance for more junior PMs on their projects and be a key collaborator or owner for initiatives with other teams.You will coordinate Product Managers across multiple products; they will work with their team to set clear/measurable objectives and ensure the team is effectively crafting project plans based on priorities, and ultimately driving positive business outcomes. Lastly, the Director of Product will deliver their vision & strategy, monitor product progression and partner with central publishing teams and/or game teams for delivering initiatives.What You Bring 5+ years experience in product management in consumer productsExperience in consumer mobile or game development experience is helpful but not requiredAbility to build wire-frames, product specifications and white papersExperience with managing dynamic applications and multivariate testingAble to lead, motivate, and develop a team - including those who do not directly report to youExceptional data analysis and problem solving skills. SQL querying abilities is a strong plusStrong project management skills and ability to present work to executive teamA passion for games, creating fun and, compelling user experiencesOutstanding written/oral, organizational, analytical skills, and attention to detailAbility to provide clear direction, set measurable goals and give insight on industry and competitor trendsConsumer mobile or game development experience Experience in working with and coordinating large-scale projects with central teamsWhat We Offer You:Zynga offers a world-class benefits package that helps support and balance the needs of our teams. To find out more about our benefits, visit the Zynga Benefits siteThe pay range for this position in California at the start of employment is expected to be between $183,800 - $230,000 per year.The pay range for this position in Chicago at the start of employment is expected to be between $163,400 and $200,000 per yearHowever, base pay offered is based on market location, and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
