Tasks

The Crossdock/Sortation Specialist is responsible for overseeing a wide variety of activities in daily warehouse operations, including compiling/maintaining product inventory and status information (including order priority), order scheduling and solving issues related to scheduling (including completing Bill of Ladings “BOLs” and respective paperwork), sortation and physical segregation of outbound parcels and expediting movement of products to ensure efficient operations. Ability to flex responsibilities to parcel delivery routes as needed.

Work Environment: Distribution Center in Vernon, CA

  • The job is within a non-climate-controlled warehouse environment where you will be exposed to temperature swings (hot/cold), forklift and pedestrian traffic, fumes, and noise.
  • Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as high-visibility vests
Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future
  • Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations
  • Clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with SAP and warehouse management systems
  • Experience in the Transportation industry, with knowledge of setting up the daily dock plan based on activity
