- Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including restorative, cosmetic, and surgical treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all necessary instruments and supplies are ready
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
- Perform dental charting and maintain accurate patient records
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care instructions
- Monitor vital signs and assist with patient assessment as needed
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Train and supervise other dental assistants in their daily tasks
- Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and maintain a clean and sterile environment
- Collaborate with the front office staff to schedule appointments and manage patient flow

**Experience**:

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA)
- Proficient in dental anatomy, terminology, and procedures
- Experience with medical imaging software for dental radiographs
- Experience with ITero
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health topics
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to patient privacy

We offer competitive compensation based on experience.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $32.00 - $37.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
