**Overview**:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable Laborer to join our Property Management team. As a Laborer, you will be responsible for performing various tasks to support our daily operations. This is a hands-on role that requires physical strength and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to support the efficient operation of our facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is looking for a diverse range of responsibilities.
**Duties**:
- Operate forklifts and other equipment to move materials and products
- Digging trenches, compacting, and backfilling trenches/holes.
- Operating and maintaining machinery and heavy equipment such as bobcat, loader, etc.
- Fabricate and modify parts using hand tools and power tools.
- Load and unload materials from trucks or containers.
- Assist with inventory management and stock control.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Interact professionally with customers, trade partners, and suppliers/vendors.
- Landscaping.
- Asphalt maintenance.
- Snow and ice control; plowing and sanding. (could include weekends).
- General cleaning.
- Light carpentry.
- Basic HVAC and plumbing.
- Basic painting.
- Other maintenance duties that arise.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols at all times.
**Qualifications**:
- Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and the ability to use hand tools and power tools effectively
- Familiarity with operating forklifts or willingness to learn
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds)
- Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work well with others in a collaborative environment
- Basic computer skills
