**Medical Credentialing Specialist**

Ware Langhorne & Associates, well-established medical billing firm in RVA, is looking for a Medical Credentialing Specialist to join its dynamic team and assist our FT Credentialer. Position can be tailored to anywhere from 30-40 hours/wk (daytime hours) depending on the preference of the selected new hire. Duties include the following:

- Updating and maintaining a credentialing database for many medical providers
- Obtaining missing information and ensuring records are current and meet federal/state guidelines.
- Maintaining proper documentation of provider enrollment
- Contacting insurance companies to inform them of any changes in contracts and policies
- Preparing and maintaining reports re: accreditation, membership, or facility privileges
- Keeping our staff informed weekly of updates.

**This position may be performed both in office and remotely after the training period is complete. During training (approx. 2 months), applicant must work on-site.**

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
