**Receptionist**

**Summary**:
As the first impression -in person or via telephone contact, the **Receptionist** is a vitally important member of the Constellation Team. This person provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. The **Receptionist** will be responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate employees, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies and additional clerical duties as needed. In addition, based on knowledge of the company programs and services and individual employees, the **Receptionist** is uniquely positioned to be the first line of problem-solving activity and to actively support a strong and dynamic customer service culture.

**Responsibilities**:

- Answers telephone and directs the caller to the appropriate employee.
- Greets and directs visitors.
- Provides excellent customer service assistance and greets guests in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner.
- Takes and retrieves messages for various personnel. When the employee is not available may offer other alternatives to voice mail, again with a customer service/problem-solving mindset.
- Provides support to marketing and sales staff as time permits.
- Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website, and other related information.
- Receives, sorts and forwards incoming mail, maintains and routes publications.
- Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services (FedEx, UPS, etc.)
- Assists in the ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies.
- May also assist with other related clerical duties.
- Perform other duties as needed and assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Possession of a high school diploma or equivalent (GED). Associate and/or Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possession of strong organizational skills.
- Excellent phone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently on assigned tasks as well as to accept direction on given assignments.
- Able to work collectively with the administrative team associates.
- Professional appearance, proven track record in providing excellent customer service.
