Dog Daycare Handler

We are seeking dog handlers to join our day care team Each handler will be in charge of up to 8 dogs while inside the daycare, and up to 4 dogs while out on activities.

All of our daycare guests are temperament tested and we encourage healthy play. Because of this, we are looking for handlers with a lighter touch than other daycares may require.

**Responsibilities**:

- Pick up and drop off clients from their homes
- Accompany dogs on all daily activities including dog park time, central park walks, indoor playtime, and basic training practice
- Set up, run, and clean up special activities, such as the ball pit and kiddie pool
- Walk non daycare dogs during the day
- Shifts available between 9:00am and 7:00pm Mondays - Sundays

Qualifications:

- Must be age 18+
- Must love dogs
- Prior personal or professional experience with dog care
- Ability to walk long distances and stay on your feet for the majority of the day
- Ability to multitask
- Excellent communication skills

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
